my birthday is coming up quickly,i wanna do something great! i wanna boogie down! i wanna get my praise on!
last year - i got this computer - but no celebration - my papa was ill and dieing . he passed on into heaven this oct.2001.
his birthday was feb.1 & mine is feb.6 -i love and miss him! but im glad he isn't suffering - so i feel i need to celebrate for
both he & me!! he is sha-boogin' in heaven- im gonna boogie on earth!! so i need to make birthday plans!
been back at church the last 3 sundays- man, i love it! i love being in the house of God! even though my body doesn't like getting up earily , my spirit is hhhappy!!!!
i love singing to the lord! feeling his love surround me! - woohoo- nothing like it!
i feel like a tigger today , much more then my usual pooh-ish mood... im bouncy!!
ok - so new van !! oh and we're getting a dishwasher! yes!! and i my get a camera! im blessed!!!!
and ive not written alot i need to about my marriage and all that jazz - basically - we're working with God and getting help,the time with our pastor ,talking,was good! he is awesome-he married us so he knows all our shit. he is a friend as well as a pastor - so matt & i are married, im staying, and we will be a living miracle! we will beat the odd's .. it will be/is hard but with God ,we can do it!

going to find answers

well , tonight has been ugly .
i won't get into detail's cause it isn't
the type of thing i want on the web - being
it's my life and marriage - let's just say
matt & i are at a very life changing crossroads.
we neither know wheather to save the marriage or
throw in the towel and say "we gave it our best"
all this is so surreal - and a release and makes me wanna
cry - a mush of mixed feelings -but my point in tell you all this is
that i'll be away from the computer/blogging for a bit, as i am going
where so many go when marriage is in a mess- my parents - oh i hope
my mom doesn't ask me 1,000 questions and oh , i hope they will offer a
nurtering place to find out where i am with all this . and ive been a stay home wife for
3 1/2 years , i pray i can find a good job and on & on with the hope's and wondering's and
fear's but i am returning to journaling on paper - im returning the new dig. camera-need the $
and im seeking to find myself better then the way im leaving here... im not moving out -just going away to let us get our heads clear and figure out what we want to do... part of me wishes i never got married - part of me wishes it would all magiclly work out - either way ive got clothes to wash , pack, etc... and we will be (maybe) coming on our 5 year anniversery, feb. 7th. and i'll be 29 ,feb.6th. - man oh man!

1. What was your first job? the 1st. one that payed was working at a resort on the top of the blue ridge parkway in north carolina, living with hippies and jesus freaks in employment housing, 6,000 feet in the air on the side of a mountain - i was a maid

2. How old were you when you had your first kiss? well my kindergarden boyfriend & i kissed alot but a full on "give it to me baby" kiss was @ 16 - dating a guy named stanley ,who was an black fella and i got called lovely names for dating "outside my race" -whatever! - but he could not kiss!! it was my 1st. kiss and i still knew he couldn't kiss -lol

3. What was your first car? What happened to it? a v.w. van , although i could not legally drive it at the time - though i did a little - her name was "cricket" and we had stickers and art all in & outside . lots of plastic toys super glued to the dashboard,dryed flowers too.
we traded her in for a car -we still have that car - i miss my van - we lived in her for a bit -memories!

4. What was your first concert? Rick Springfield! - like oh mi god! i wish i had jesse's girl - lol.. i remember i got a aqua blue concert t-shirt and a big rick s. pin ! Rock on!

movie time!

last night matt & i went to see a movie ..
which was silly,interesting ,& full of great actors!
if you enjoy a good semi-dark comedy with lots of
twist's and turn's and all around goofy fun - you'd
most likely enjoy this movie..
it is sort of bizzare & alil' like "Clue" ,minus that it isn't
a " who done it?" comedy/mystery like "Clue" was.
but it has that sorta feel the way it was directed ..
over all -good movie !
(even though im always a sucker for romatic comedy!)

random thoughts

today it is one month til my 29th. birthday -strange!
i haven't been writting alot because i tend to not write when alot of confusing /not so great things are bugging me.
but ive decidied i need to write about this stuff -as i need an outlet and thats part of why i blog - so here goes:
on new years eve , my "best friend" of 7 years told me she would be getting married to a fella she barely knows and the marriage would be in 3 months -3 MONTHS!!! - what makes this even worse is she isn't the one who actually told me -he new boyfriend / fiance, did in a semi-crowded room -this also being the first time i have ever met him in my life! and the only talking she'd done about him was that he was acting kinda freaky and she was confused - not a great thing to tell your bestfriend and expect her to have good feelings about "mr.so and so" or your marriage plans for 3 months from now involving the fact she also has a young son in the mix of it all - what that all about! - man it not only pisses me off but broke& breaks my heart...
im trying to leave it with God - he is my strength but im pissed -i have to vent ,so here i am - i feel sorry for my lil' keyboard as i am pounding on a it and now "delete" isn't working...
then there's -my marriage : pretty good ,no huge complaints - except that my husband & i get into a heated talk over (you guessed it ) -MONEY- and because i told him to go away in a part of the discussion he just leaves for like a million hours -til 4 in the morning . mind you i wasn't perfect in the fact that i told him to go away but i didn't mean "go away - and make me wonder if your dead on the side of the road" kind of go away .. just gimme a few minutes of space - he knows me well enough to know that.besides he has yelled go away to me for years in a way more hurtful way then i did last night and i never went like that,if i went out of the house at all maybe just to another room -if i left he at least knew where i was going cause i'd tell him . he is now sitting here -brb..
well he won't talk about why this happend except "he didn't wanna be around me .." - okay!
then there are my panic attacks, which lately have been not fun to say the least - but God has me - that i am totally sure of. :) thankfully!
all this sounds so 8th grade - re-reading it but i guess that the way it stands at the moment..
ARRRGGHH!!! - well there it is - all my junk ,on the table..

i have had panic attacks for a long time and with the awesome help of God , medication ,& not giving up on myself - im learning more about how to live without panic ... i think alot of folks have some form of panic attacks - some stronger than others - so here's a link to a good bit of info on the subject... if you suffer from this disorder : don't be ashamed & don't be affriad but do take care of yourself!
we're all here for a special&unique reason - don't let panic or anything rob you of that :)

happy/safe new years!!

tonight we're having a lil' get together
(infact i need to get off this here computer & start setting up for it)
to promote safer new years ,free of silly drunkerds & loud bars -we opted
for a small gathering here in our new home ( i am also opting to miss "donna the buffalo"
one of the best " get your groove on" bands ever! )
so instead my parents,me&matt, my best friend & her son (and her new sorta boyfriend)
will eat veggie lasanya (i said this is about my misspellings in the about box! lol)
and watch lady& the tramp - then we will watch the ball drop ! drink our sparkling apple cider &

may sound boring - i like cozy gatherings - i done my share of party-ing...
SO - the only (& i mean only) new years resolution i am making and aiming to keep is to:GET HEALTHY!
yeah, i know everyone makes that one but i have rarely ever made a new years resolution and i aim to do this !
i've always been a large mama but since getting married 4 years ago ive super sized myself !!! (lol)
im ready to be healthy!! not super skinny, just healthy! so that is it... with God & my stubborness i can do this and i aim too.
so i just pulled the 30th off my daily calender(with lovely art by mary engelbreit, who i adore) to reveil the 31st. and it says :

froggy

These little frogs are grass-green colored, usually with a creamy colored line running from the jaw along the flanks. hello ! courage is what gives us freedom! the brave people cleaning & shuffling thru the rubble of mess from sept.11th.
are suppling us with freedoms - the freedom to have loved ones found , the freedom of us not having our christmas celebrating asses down at ground zero doing all they've done & continue to do ! (just to name 2)
not to even mention the soliders & the rest of the nameless people helping behind the haze of the 9/11events; helping , loving ,fighting , giving up the comforts we take for granted to be part of the greater good...

i love me some paul & oprah but why should they should they be clumped in with recieving this honor? did i miss class that day?

our country is quite a mess but i wont lie - i love my freedom and thank God for the folks willing to go out and kick ass for it ... not in some backwoods redneck way but truely fighting the good fight to be part of bringing justice & keeping the freedom we do have.
